What we evaluate
Eight dimensions of enterprise AI readiness
AI programmes rarely fail on the model. They fail on data, process, hosting and governance — so that is what we score.
Digital
Digital maturity
How much of the core business already runs on software rather than spreadsheets and email.
Data
Data quality
Whether data is centralised, clean, governed and accessible for analytics and model training.
Auto
Automation
Existing workflow automation, approvals and integration between systems.
Cloud
Cloud readiness
Hosting model, scalability, environments and CI/CD maturity.
Docs
Documentation
Whether processes, APIs and system behaviour are written down and current.
Knowledge
Knowledge management
How institutional knowledge is captured, searched and reused across teams.
Security
Security & governance
Access control, audit trails, compliance posture and AI usage policy.
Software
Existing software estate
Coverage and integration quality of ERP, CRM, HRMS and line-of-business systems.
Maturity levels
From Beginner to Enterprise Ready
Where your score lands decides whether the next 90 days are foundation work or production AI.
0–39
Beginner
Foundations first. AI pilots would fail today not because of the models but because the data, process and hosting layer cannot support them. Six to twelve weeks of digitisation and data consolidation will change the picture completely.
Foundation sprint: 6–12 weeks before the first AI pilot
40–59
Developing
You have real systems and real data, but fragmentation and manual hand-offs limit what AI can act on. Target one contained, high-volume use case while closing the two weakest dimensions in parallel.
First AI pilot in 4–8 weeks, alongside a data cleanup track
60–79
Advanced
You are ready for production AI in selected domains. Governance and integration depth are the remaining constraints — solve those and you can scale from a single pilot to a portfolio.
Production AI use case in 4–6 weeks; portfolio within two quarters
80–100
Enterprise Ready
Your data, cloud, automation and governance foundations can support agentic AI in production. The priority now is a prioritised AI portfolio with measurable P&L outcomes, not further groundwork.
Multi-use-case AI programme; first value in 3–4 weeks
